5K, 20 Obstacles, and a place in Spartan history is on the line. The Sprint World Championship race takes place Sunday, Oct 11th:

Qualifications:
Elite: Top 25 finish in any event of the same distance or Top 10 finish in any event of a different distance within the qualification period*.

*The qualification period begins the day after the previous championship and continues until the weekend before the current year's event.

Qualification is not required for Age Group Championship heats.

What’s on the line:
Elite athletes will compete for a place on the podium and their share of a championship prize purse. Age Group athletes will compete for their place on the Age Group podium.

The 100M World Championship is our fastest and most intense OCR format yet.

100M, 12 Obstacles:
The 100M World Championship is all about speed, strength and agility. With only a few meters between each obstacles, this event will be all action. Finals will entail a merciless head-to-head knockout format. Expect rivalry, suspense, falls, unseen athletic feats and a one-of-a-kind show to crown the best obstacle specialist in the world.

The 100M course will start in the historical city square of Hvar, facing the Adriatic Sea, culminating with the classic Spartan race finish line on the mediterranean pier.

Qualifications:
Invite/Application process only.

Nominations via OCR National Federations: National Federations have the opportunity to nominate athletes to compete in the Spartan Race 100M Championship by submitting a nomination form to Spartan Race. Applications will be reviewed by Spartan, and all those accepted will receive an email invitation to enter. Please contact your OCR National Federation for further details on nominations.
A limited number of wildcard slots will be available - stay tuned for more info.

The best option for flying to Croatia is the Split Airport (SPU) - 42km from Hvar.
