About Spartan Trail

Classic trail running, no obstacles, many distances - from 10K, Half Marathon to 50K. Our trail races are held in some of the most picturesque, natural environments. Spartan also hosts the Spartan Trail World Championship, a multi-stop tour for all ability levels, and features some of trail running’s most iconic events and athletes. All Trail courses are separate from the obstacle race courses and have no obstacles, but share the same start and finish area in the festival.

Arrival & heat times

Accepted Answer

Arrive 90 minutes before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your registration packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up. Check registration schedules in the Athlete Guide. Heat start "Spartan Race operates with heat starts between 150 and 250 athletes every 15 minutes after the first heat. Choose your starting time well according to your level, your team and your objectives. Do not go into the last waves if you think you will have difficulty finishing the course. There is no time barrier but for obvious security reasons everyone must be home before a certain time. You can find your start time on your booking sent by email but you can also manage it on your Ticket Socket account. YOUR exact start time is listed on your barcode and will be posted in your Spartan Account approximately 10 days prior to the event date. Have more questions not listed below?
