Arrive 90 minutes before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your registration packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up. Check registration schedules in the Athlete Guide. Heat start "Spartan Race operates with heat starts between 150 and 250 athletes every 15 minutes after the first heat. Choose your starting time well according to your level, your team and your objectives. Do not go into the last waves if you think you will have difficulty finishing the course. There is no time barrier but for obvious security reasons everyone must be home before a certain time. You can find your start time on your booking sent by email but you can also manage it on your Ticket Socket account. YOUR exact start time is listed on your barcode and will be posted in your Spartan Account approximately 10 days prior to the event date. Have more questions not listed below? Escape the city and step onto a fourth-generation, raw working dairy farm in Barre, Massachusetts. Located just 1.5 hours outside of Boston, this venue swaps out manicured parks for authentic, agricultural terrain. You will plunge deep into dense, heavily shaded New England woods and charge across sweeping open pastures and active cornfields. The natural layout features single-track forest trails heavily loaded with hidden roots, loose rocks, and sudden, deceptive elevation changes that will test your ankle stability, focus, and grit at every turn.
